As much as I wish Turnbull was still the Liberal leader (hell, I think he’d be PM in his own right now if he’d have stayed on) there’s no viable alternative to Abbott atmThere are lots of viable alternatives to Abbott. At the 2010 election, 25 parties were registered and contested seats. The whole “you have to vote Lib or Lab” thing really gives me the irrits.
Don’t vote for who can win, or who will win.
Vote for who SHOULD win.

Despite my party membership, I do agree with that sentiment, and I’m intrigued by your idea/opinion of getting rid of parties all together. However, in the current climate, we have the Coke/Pepsi choice (I think Boston Legal brought that up once)
